AUTOMATON IMMORTALIS
Automaton Immortalis is the current name for my solo work. I often attempt to subtly bend genres in instrumental tracks with styles ranging from electronic, industrial, new age, blip-hop, space-hop, and noise. My home network of PCs has become the canvas for my self-produced music, using various sound mangling software, a sequencer, soft-synths, samplers, effects, and a collection of midi controlling hardware (ie. Keyboards, wind controller, midi guitar, and drums). Most of my previous works are available on this page for free in a low resolution mp3 format. Eventually I will be putting together a collection of some of my favorite works in the DVD-audio format (with high resolution 5.1 surround sound), as well as the standard CD format, for distribution.
My main focus right now, is to continue working on my new full length album. In a way, it will be a concept album. I won’t provide any details for now, since there is still plenty of room for revision. I have developed a new non-liner compositional method that I will be using for my new material. It will also be mixed in 5.1 surround sound for the optional DVD-audio format, and it will be written and designed specifically for this format. I will not be posting any new material on here until the entire album is complete. But sit tight. I intend to exceed expectations, so be prepared for a sonic journey through space and time. Lend me your ears and I’ll show you my mind.
